National Director of Construction
Leigh graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.S. in Civil engineering. Over the past 25 years he has been involved in complex real estate developments throughout the southeast ranging from $5 million to $50 million. Over this period, he has worked for major developers and property owners overseeing the planning, permitting and development of retail developments, office buildings, town center developments, marinas and apartment buildings with a total market value exceeding $700 million.
Most recently Mr. Colyer managed the renovations of timeshare properties in Florida, Virginia, Tennessee and North Carolina. Leigh has worked with Commstruct, LLC since 2012 developing and overseeing several major construction projects valuing from $1.5 million to $8 million spanning the southeast. Leigh is a active member of the Project Managers Institute and the Urban Land Institute, he holds a SC real estate brokers license, has held a SC unlimited general contractors license and a SC residential builders license.
Sandra Napoli has a solid background in expanding revenues and organizing major construction projects. Ms. Napoli has over 25 years experience combining the commercial furniture business and commercial construction design. Ms. Napoli is always personable and enthusiastic, with a strong work ethic and revered by her peers.
Providing clients with timely information, resolving client issues in a speedy fashion and overseeing operations with a strict attention to detail is her strong suit. Sandra maintains effective working relationships with key personnel, including project managers, suppliers, and construction crews to execute projects in a manner that provides the best experience for the client.
Chief Project Manager
John Nelson has worked in the construction field since 1997 and joined the company in 2004. Mr. Nelson has been involved in projects utilizing multiple types of construction materials and methods including applications for commercial, industrial, and residential buildings. He also personally performs onsite management responsibilities on several renovation projects. John's project responsibilities include but are not limited to coordination and overall development of the entire project from pre-construction services to closeout.
John assists with project estimating, preparing bids, procurement of subcontractors and materials, project scheduling, purchase orders, direct liaison with clients, lead communication with owners, architects and engineers, and submittal processing. He monitors and coordinates work performed by field staff and subcontractors ensuring that project operations are in compliance with design specifications, change orders, control and maintenance logs. Mr. Nelson consistently leads multi-discipline teams in the successful completion of a wide range of projects.
